The Forgotten Realm

The forgotten realm is a mythological realm that I have designed and created. It is a world governed by six Gods that came from the six central mountains; Earth, Fire, Wind, Water, Life and Death. The first people lived in the central city but as each God had a tribe of followers that thought their God to be greatest war broke out and the city was destroyed, all the tribes fled to separate corners. the Goddess of wind created the floating islands for her people. The followers of the water goddess took to the islands off the coast. The Earth worshipers burrowed deep into the mountains. Those who worshiped the gods of fire and death settled around a great hole where they could see into the underworld. The monks who praised life above all else built a city of walls to keep all else out.
